About Us

AIF Dog Rescue

Who we are.

Why are we different from other rescues?  We are a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and restoring dogs to loving homes. We not only rescue dogs of all breeds and mixes, we rehabilitate them with love and bonding as if they were our very own. We work hard to restore each dog to a safe and loving home. No matter how long that make take! We provide follow-up assistance and support for the life of the dog.

Angels in Fur support the following goals:

  • AIF was formed to rescue and rehome abandoned dogs from the pound or neglectful owners.  We realize that we can not save all dogs who are mistreated, but the dogs we rescue, become part of our family until we find them a forever homes.
  • We rely 100% upon tax deductible donations in order to continue to save more “Angels in Fur.”
  • Education is an important part of AIF. Without drastic change and perspective of how to treat animals, we will continue to see large number of animals euthanized.
  • Promote the importance of spaying and neutering your pets.
  • We could not do our work without our volunteers. We have no paid staff at AIF.

Thanks for your support and love.

Help AIF Help Senior Dogs

AIF believes that senior dogs ROCK! They are chill and way more manageable than a puppy. Unfortunately, old dogs are dumped at shelters because veterinary care is high, and their owners don’t want to pay for it. So we immediately take them for a pricey check-up that includes the following services:

a senior blood panel
a urinalysis
their heart, teeth, ears, and eyes checked
a dental done that usually includes extractions
This type of vet visit and dental is over $1000 every time. Some seniors who have never had their teeth cleaned, need dental surgery and that can start at $2000. Bacteria in the mouth can enter the bloodstream and travel to your pet’s internal organs, causing liver, heart, and kidney problems, eventually death.

Beyond all of this care, we also use a holistic that has been helping us cure dogs that vets say they can’t. We supply our foster homes and not a kennel, with the best quality food, medication, and supplements to rehabilitate the seniors to TIP TOP shape.

Adopters can feel completely comfortable adopting any dog from us because of all the care we put into rehabilitation before adoption.
