Miss Wink is a spunky 9-year-old chihuahua mixed with a touch of a corgi. She weighs 11 lbs. and loves to go on walks, snuggle, and be held. She was dumped at the Apple Valley shelter when her owner passed away. She was named Wink because her right eye always looks like it is winking at you. She was born this way, and we took her to an eye specialist to have her examined. Wink needs over-the-counter eye drops to keep her eyes moist and to prevent cataracts from continuing to form. She has some night vision loss in her right eye. Wink is in excellent health and had a recent senior blood panel and a dental. She lost all but 4 teeth, but that does not stop her from loving her food and treats. Wink is an alpha female that gets along with more chill doggies. She cannot be around cats because she enjoys chasing them. She is being fostered in the San Fernando Valley with several other small and medium gentle doggies.
