Roxie is a 2 year old German Shepherd/boxer mix who has the warmest eyes and just wants to be loved. She weighs about 65 lbs, house trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. She would be happy to be the only dog in the house. She doesn't like to share her person with any other dog. She wants all the love for herself. Come meet her at our next dog adoption.

Casey is a 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Ret./Lab mix. He is excellent with dogs and children! He really enjoys swimming and being with those that he loves. He needs one more knee surgery and we need to find a foster home that will care for him during this time. He's a wonderful dog and loves to play with toys and balls. Our goal is to find him a forever home.

Potsie: He is ready for a loving home. Potsie is a super smart Mastif mix. He is 2 yrs. old and super mellow. He is great with other mellow non alpha dogs. He has been fully trained at Lockwood, fixed and has all his shots. Potsie really loves to be with his family or person that he loves. He is not the type of dog that can stay alone for long periods of time...he is so smart that he can get bored easy and think of things to do. Potsie would be great at a casual office place or with someone that works from home. Potsie loves to lay on a soft bed in any room his human is in! ADOPT ME!

Jazzy Beauty is great Tervuren and collie mix with non-dominate dogs. Her happiness can be seen as aggression to a dominate dog. She lives in a foster home with cats and a 4 year old girl. House trained and loves to be with her people. She is a Tervuren and collie mix. She weighs about 65 lbs.

Cain: is a 2 yr. old Rotti/chow mix also from same place Oliver and Louie was frim. He has come a long way! He is ready for a home!!! He has also fully trained at Lockwood. Cain is a really sweet pup that loves affection. He would love to go on long walks, go for car rides to Petco and to sleep in a warm bed with a person that loves him. He is fixed and has all his shots. He does great with dogs that are calm and mature. No cats. ADOPT ME!

Ginger is great for people with allergies!!!!!
Ginger is a wired hair terrier Airedale mixed with Shar Pei. She is about 3 yrs old and weighs approx 65 lbs.
Ginger has been fully trained by Julie Ilse at Lockwood. She knows all basic commands, station mat trained and crate trained. Ginger is a very faithful dog!! She gets along with less dominant male dogs.

Here is Bob Dog with his friend Sophie!
Bob Dog was rescued as he was running through traffic in 113 degree heat in Encino. AIF was never able to find his owner. He is a super sweet 6 yr old border collie mixed with flat coated retriever. He weighs 60 lbs., neutered, all his shots and full of love to give. He walks PERFECT on a leash, house trained and wants to lay on the couch with the person he loves.
Bob Dog is a very faithful dog that would do anything for his person. He gets along with other dogs but no cats!

Ellie is a five year old basset/lab mix. She loves everyone, kids, dogs, people and most of all is ready for a good hike anytime. Don't let her short legs fool you, she will still out hike you. Her owners gave her up and took her to the pound before AIF could rescue. So the owners went back to the shelter and now Ellie is being fostered by two great ladies. Ellie weighs about 40 lbs. Stands as high as a bassett, but moves like a lab. Look at that sweet, loving face. How can you ignore that???

Thelma is a DELIGHTFUL doggie! She was a stray at the pound that was over bred then 'thrown away'. Thelma is only 2 years old and has so much love to give and really wants to be loved. She was rescued with another dog named Louise. We think that they may be mother and daughter. |

Spencer (a pug/chihuahua) and Princess (a chihuahua) are madly in love with each other and would be so sad to be away from each other. They are being fostered now but really want a forever home and stop their traveling and settled down. These two dogs play all day long. All they want is a yard, a bully stick and a soft bed. Princess prefers to sleep under the covers. Spencer is fully trained and loves to go for walks. These two dogs are so special and loving. Princess is the sweetest chihuahua in the world. If she can't be on your lap and kissing you, her world is incomplete. Both weigh about 10lbs each and Spencer is 1 1/2 yr and Princess is 2 1/2 years old.

Cookie is 1 yr old Borzoi mix She is VERY sweet, loving and gentle. She walks beautifully on leash and is a well behaved doggie! Cookie is great with other dogs and children. She is house trained too. Cookie is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She weighs about 65 lbs. Cookie adores belly rubs and snuggles. She even knows how to hug on command!- She's great in a car, travels wells, loves the beach, long hikes and the opportunity to run. This way, luxurious black and white coat sweetie has freckles on her nose and soulful brown eyes.

Smiling Jack is a five year old hunk of a dalmation. He weighs 70 lbs, neutered up to date on his shots. His owner, an elderly woman, had to give him up. He has grown up with dogs, horses, cats and children. He is easy to walk on a leash, house trained and very loving.

Miss Frankie is a 2 1/2 year old fully trained Austraiian Shepherd/Dane Mix. A lot of fun to be with, enjoys hiking and going on long runs. Loves other dogs. Frankie is house, crate and station mat trained. She is trained and now kenneled by Julie Ilies at Lockwood Canine Training Center. Frankie spent several weeks with cats at a home. She showed alot of interest but never did anything to harm them or chase them. We would gladly try her with your cat if you liked.

Rex is a NON Jack Russel Jack Russel. He is NOTHING like what you expect that breed to be. He is the exact opposit. He is calm, friendly with other dogs and cats, walks well on a leash and rides great in a car. He is house trained, wants to please, very very smart and will not jump up on furniture. He is 4 yrs old, fixed and up to date on all his shots. He weighs 17 lbs and is filled with lots of love to give. ADOPT ME!

Chucky is the sweetest, most loving little bundle of pure goodness. He is 2 -3 years old and he weighs 10 lbs. Chucky is great with other dogs & cats, likes to play and go for walks and take a nap curled up on your lap. We would love to adopt him and Charlie together as they totally bonded; otherwise, he needs a home with another playful dog. He is crate trained, neutered, current on all vaccines and micro-chipped.

Nina has perfected leash walking and likes to show off how easy walks with her can be as she gently heels at your side! 2nd on her list was someone who will take her with them where ever they go because she looooves rides in car! Nina is the ultimate people dog and oooh sooo affectionate!! She calmly moves around the house with you as you go about your day.
